Attalis Capital works with family offices and superannuation funds to source, evaluate and invest in private equity opportunities within Australia where it can be an active value-add partner. Attalis will invest patient capital and focus on long-term growth and value creation. Attalis focuses on investment origination, deal structuring, and ongoing monitoring of investments in real estate and growth private equity.

Position Overview

We are offering a unique opportunity for an intern to work 2+ days a week (Monday and Wednesday) during the Summer or Winter university break at our Sydney office. This role is tailored for individuals with a voracious intellectual curiosity, self-driven ambition, and a deep passion for investing.

Please note, the initial 8-week internship is unpaid, which is deliberate to find candidates with genuine hunger and ambition. For exceptional candidates who demonstrate outstanding performance, strong work ethic, and a clear passion for the role, there will be an opportunity to continue as a paid intern at an agreed hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed desktop research to identify companies within a sector or thematic that show potential for long-term growth

  • Perform outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold phone calls, ensuring systematic follow-up to engage with key stakeholders

  • Participate in meetings with management teams once scheduled, providing interns with valuable exposure to new businesses and insights into how private equity assesses companies

  • Analyse business models to assess profitability drivers and key factors contributing to business success
